Will Apple ever fix/update their TV 4K box to work with BBC app like all other suppliers have managed to do?
Some say it’s BBC to change their system… but it works with other suppliers so this tells me it’s apples problem to fix their end.

probably not, they are unlikely to make changes to get non operating apps to work, that is the job of the app developers, in this case bbc or whoever bbc pay to develop the app that stream their content, in worst case every tvOS/ios ... update will require an app to be updated too to work.
