Macbook Pro Power Adapter Static Shock
Hi,
I'm getting a small electric shock when I touch my Macbook pro M2 while it is charging. The shock is a static electric feeling, sometimes more present than other times, but it's always there when I charge, despite in what location (different buildings) I charge the Macbook. I heard this is common, since the two prong EU charger duckhead (the adapter piece connected to the charger) is not grounded.
Apple support told me that they do not officially sell grounded duckheads that work in Finland. So I wondered if I could buy the Apple travel adapter kit and use the G-type three-prong grounded plug (used in England/Ireland etc.), and then use a non-apple adapter to convert it back to a grounded two-prong plug that works in Finland. Please see the pictures.
Is my logic correct here? Would this somehow harm my Macbook?
Thank you very much for the help!
