Logitech Spotlight does not work with Ventura

i installed my new Macbook this week. My version is 2.00.43 - the same as your version. You must give the application the required permissions to use all features. What doesn't work actually mean? Can't you setup the bluetooth connection?

Open the app LogiPresentation. Connect your Spotlight device...typically by pressing the big button...

Once it is connected, go to the LogiPresentation App > Pointer Multiple > Highlight (slide on).

I can get it to work connecting with the dongle but not BlueTooth. What is the point of a $100 BlueTooth pointer (that Apple recommends) that will not connect via BlueTooth? This is especially true on those MacBook Pros like mine (16" MBP i9 (2019) running Ventura 13.2.1) with only USB-c/Thunderbolt ports with a dongle that is USB-a. It seems to me that this is a BlueTooth connectivity problem either on the Apple end or the Logitech end (possibly both too, I suppose). There has to be a better solution than use the dongle or have a paperweight.

You might want to ask Logitech about Ventura compatibility.

I have the same problem. The highlight button is the only one working. Talked at length to a senior apple support person. They have no knowledge of this (until now)

I also chatted with a support person at Logitech. They too lacked this knowledge. Although I never talked about Mac OS with that person.

I also spoke to Apple Support (in store) and have a case open with Logitech. I keep getting the same advice and instructions from them (uninstall, reinstall, give it permissions and then it should be fine) but it’s not fine.

I just installed the Spotlight software, and had no problem with connection. How ever - i had to make some adjustments to make the "magnifier" function work.

Just connected my logitech spotlight remote to a MBP m1 via bluetooth. It was recognized as a mouse. Logitech presentation software does not see it. No spotlight feature but slide advance & back work fine. Will connect a receiver when I get a usb-c to usb adapter and see if functionality changes.

I'm glad to hear there is a solution but I got a little lost at the end of your instructions. May I ask that you give more detail on the "Show Original" part? I can find the item I would like to add and when I right-click on it I can see the "Show in Finder" - The next part is unclear. Do I right-click the exact same icon I right-clicked the first time? or the new icon that has just popped up in the new finder window that has opened? I have tried both ways and I do not see any option to "Show Original" I would really appreciate a speedy reply as I am facilitating in the morning and this would make a nice difference to the event! Thank you.

Hi BentAgent...I have problem with the magnifier...he froze with the first image I tried in the desktop. It opens well, but with the image of the desktop still...even if it´s in power point...for example.

Do you know something about ???
