Logitech Spotlight does not work with Ventura

Logitech Spotlight presentation clicker does not work with Ventura. The next and previous slide buttons don't give any response. Running the device under Monterey runs smoothly. I believe that the bluetooth connection is the issue. If you connect the Spotlight to a Monterey mac it is recognised as a keyboard, if you connect it to Ventura it is recognised as a mouse - and the imitation of pressing the arrow right and arrow left buttons does not occur.

You might want to ask Logitech about Ventura compatibility.

Key takeaways for those who might end up here lately from Google search

- Spotlight should work fine on MacOS 13.4 Ventura, both via dongle or bluetooth, with LogiPresentation 2.00.43

- There’re two permissions under System Settings > Privacy & Security that you need to pay attention to

Input Monitoring —> you’ll be asked to give the app permission to input monitoring, otherwise, you won’t be able to finish installing the LogiPresentation app

Accessibilities —> after finishing LogiPresentation installation, check the permission for Accessibilities again. Remove the current LogiPresentation permission using ‘-‘ minus button, and add it back again using ‘+’ button. DO TAKE NOTE that you’ll need to locate the original path of the app at /Library/Application Support/Logitech/Logitech Presentation.app not the Logi Presentation alias/shortcut that you might find in the Applications folder

Thanks, everyone, and RedJackPL for these findings
