Your Wi-Fi router will need to use separate wireless network names for the 2.4GHz and 5 GHz signals. Then, connect your iPhone to the 2.4 GHz network. Not all Wi-Fi routers have this capability.


Not sure why you want to connect to the much slower 2.4 GHz signal though.
