Alphanumeric keyboard after restart
Hi guys,
Yesterday when I tried to use Face ID my Iphone 13 asked me to enter the passcode to enable face ID and then I am seeing alphanumeric keyboard on the lock screen. This is quite strange as I did not enable alphanumeric passcode and i did not change any settings.
I normally use my passcode several times a day so i remember the exact password, without a doubt. I tried to switch the keypad to 123 numerical keyboard and entered the correct passcode but the phone keeps on saying the passcode is incorrect. In the mean time I tried my old passcodes as well, but that caused the device to go into security lock mode. I can try my passcode again in 8 hours time, because of several "wrong attempts". Another option tried was restarting the device, however the issue stays the same. I didn’t change my passcode or any settings related to passcode or Face ID.
To make my situation a bit more complex: i don't have a back-up via iCloud & a computer does not recognize the phone as it needs to be "unlocked".
I do not want to erase all the contents on my iphone, since i then lose basically everything as of 2019. It is also strange that the phone does not show an erase option next to emergency call option. It looks like a bug in the system. Hope somebody here can help me & has the "golden" answer. I will transfer some money to the person who has got the solution how to fix this.
The picture is taken with my Ipad as I am unable to unlock my phone. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!!! Apple told me that they cannot help me with this...... nice service again!
