Ipad mini 6 5g not transmitting data

What would block device from transmitting data to apps and others services on ipad mini 6 while on 5g cellular network. Everything works fine on WiFi, apps and browsers will not transmit and notifications will continue to ping and reach the device. WIFI is disconnected and bluetooth is not on.

Hey dfoster7557,

If we understand correctly, your apps and other services that depend on an internet connection don't work when you're using cellular data only. If that's right, start with checking your cellular settings to make sure those apps and services have access to your cellular data. The following guide has great tips to help, specifically the sections "Choose cellular data options for data usage, performance, battery life, and more" and "Set cellular data use for apps and services" here: View or change cellular data settings on iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular models) - Apple Support

If that's not the case, let us know more to help:

  • Software updates recently released, which software version shows in Settings > General > About?
  • When you notice cellular data not working, do any alerts appear? If so, what do they say?
  • Do all apps that need internet access experience this behavior, or only some?

Keep us posted.

Take care!
