Lightning to usb camera adapter no working with headphone amp.

Hello, I am currently using a Dragonfly quest black(amp) for streaming hi-if music. The amp uses usb-a to connect to the source, I bought a camera adapter, apples official, to be able to connect with usb to the iPhone. In the beginning int worked well, but roughly two weeks after purchase it stoped working. I just get error message “this accessory is not supported by this iPhone” the message pops up about 30 seconds after I plug the adapter in. I have tried cleaning all ports and checked for any damages, the lighting port works perfectly well while charging or while using my lighting to aux adapter.
