Apple Watch One Hour Ahead

My Apple Watch (version 4.3.2) is one hour ahead. I've tried to restart it close to my phone, but it still didn't fix the problem. Back when I bought the watch, my country had daylight saving time, which was about this time of the year. However, it has since been abolished. I recently transferred the Apple Watch to my account and, as far as I know, it used to function perfectly with the previous owner.

How do I fix it?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Using the paired iPhone, open Settings, > General, > Date & Time

If the toggle is green for "Set Automatically", turn it off.

Then right below, there is a place called "Time Zone", click it.

On the next screen, enter a town that is in a time zone that would give you the correct time.

Your watch will follow suit.

Is the watch actually paired with your iPhone?

The reason why I ask that is because you made mention of a previous owner in your original post.

Open the Watch app on your iPhone. Does the name of this watch appear at the top of the screen? Also, click on "All Watches" in the upper left corner of this screen. Does the watch and some of its specs appear on the next screen?

Thank you so much for your help!

Updating the phone and restarting the Watch seemed to do the trick!

My Watch seems to be too old to accept other updates and watchOS 4.3.2 is the most recent version, but thankfully I didn't need to disconnect and pair it again to the phone.

"Clock" still doesn't show up in iPhone's Location Services though.

Wait! I just did some scrolling on my Series 8 watch and within Location Services (in the Watch) there isn't a "Clock" listed.

The screenshot that I provided in an earlier reply was taken from my iPhone.

Did you go into Location Services in the iPhone? This is where I'm expecting that you should find "Clock" listed.

From your iPhone...

Settings, > Privacy & Security, > Location Services then scroll down to "Clock".

Gosh! I'm sorry to keep replying to add more but you and I are clearly running different devices and I'm wondering why your Series 4 watch is so far behind on watchOS versions.

It might be because of your phone. So... What model is your phone and what iOS is it running? From the phone, open Settings, > General, > About and read the version number.

Right now, the minimum specs for watchOS 9.3.1 and iOS 16.3.1 is a Series 4 watch and an iPhone 8

Yes, if you can see the current song, I agree that it is paired.

As far as why "Clock" isn't in the Location Services menu... Wow! This is probably the cause of the problem but it's one that I can't think of an answer for 🥴

I'm going to need help with that, it's above my pay grade!! We need a higher ranked community member to chime in.

Answering your first question, the Watch is paired, as I can see the song I'm currently listening to on my phone, and any edits I make on my phone, reflect on the Watch.

However, regarding the settings, while I can see the "Apple Watch Faces" setting on my Location Services, and it's set for "While Using", there is no correspondent for "Clock".

I double checked if my Watch was paired again and searched for it, but no such option appeared. Maybe it's because of that? I opened my Clock app, but I couldn't find the reason why it wouldn't show up there.

Answering your first question, yes, I went into Location Services in the iPhone. There isn't a similar thing in the Apple Watch, at least in my version.

As for the version of my iPhone, it's 16.2. According to the Apple Watch app, my Watch is in its latest version, so updating it doesn't seem to be an option. I'll try updating the phone, though.

And I did get in touch with Apple support through the link you sent and will update should the problem resolve.

Thank you so much for helping me!
