Is there a move to option in finder for files?

On a MacBook Pro m1 is there a move to option in finder for files ? I always use copy or drag and drop which isn’t always the easiest and can’t always be done this way and time consuming.

Yes that's how I do it most the time using copy button then deleting old. I just think it would be more beneficial to have a move to button like Windows OS and most Other OS's also even Linux has a move to button or selection lol. Thanks though was hoping there was a hidden feature like Move to option above.

Select a file and copy it to the clipboard with cmd+C. At your move destination folder, press the option key and cmd+V and the file is moved.

You can visualize this by selecting the file in the Finder, and on the Finder's secondary menu, you can select Copy, and at the move destination, again reveal the Finder secondary menu and you will see Paste Item. When you press the option key, that menu item changes to Move item here.
