problem syncing audio to midi garage band mac

hello,

i record sounds in the jungle in thailand on voice memo. cannot open in GarageBand due to audio to midi problem. i would like to make a nice compilation. cant do it. one thing that i do is open the memos in sound studio and save them on my desk top. am i doing something wrong?

My role entails creating MIDI files using Logic Pro, while my friend is responsible for converting the MIDI files to JSON format and linking them to Apple Music. Since Apple Music's audio cannot be modified, my MIDI files need to synchronize with the audio tracks provided by Apple Music. However, most Apple Music tracks have a few seconds of silence before the song begins, and when I import them into Logic Pro, I must align the song with the project tempo to ensure synchronization. This has led to the following issue: Using the song "Back to December" as an example, I align the first beat of the audio file with the first beat of the second measure in the metronome. Consequently, the starting position of the audio file is at 1 3 2 152. I hope that when exporting the MIDI file, it can also start at 1 3 2 152 to avoid any misalignment when importing into Apple Music. Despite trying various export methods and even attempting to mark the starting position using Sustain, I haven't been able to overcome this challenge. The exported MIDI files still start at the default position of 1 1 1 1 according to the project. Could you please suggest a solution to resolve this issue? Export to MIDI After all these years, garage band editor won't offer an option to export songs with only MIDI as .mid... Why not? It's a powerful editing tool, but one cannot transfer their work to an external keyboard for performance. I've seen the 22 step process to trick it into saving one track at a time, and it's ridiculous. I can understand if I use audio loops, that they won't convert to MIDI, but if I'm using MIDI loops... THEY'RE MIDI! Please give us a "save as" option for MIDIfiles.

Imported MIDI Files Not Making Sound... Sometimes? As suggested in the title, when I import MIDI files into Logic Pro 10.7.9, they don't make sound... sometimes. I'll elaborate; When I first drag the MIDI file into my project, it creates new tracks based on the midi files' instruments. They all make sound, as you would expect. The problem arises when I drag one of those imported regions onto existing tracks. It won't make sound. Then I drag a different imported track onto an existing region and–wait–it makes sound? I'm really confused, please help! I've attached a video (no audio, sorry) to show this happening. If you are having issues syncing music, try these steps:

"Try any of the following suggestions:

Make sure the MIDI device is properly connected to your Mac, or to a MIDI interface that’s connected to your Mac.
Make sure the device is turned on.
Make sure you installed any software provided by the manufacturer. Check the manufacturer’s website to see if you have the latest version of the software.
Make sure the app you’re using is compatible with Audio MIDI Setup. For more information, refer to the app’s documentation.

In the Audio MIDI Setup app on your Mac, make sure you set up the MIDI device correctly." If a MIDI device isn’t working in Audio MIDI Setup on Mac

If the issue continues, Contact Apple Support for additional guidance.
