Finding large / Old files on macOS

How can I easily find large or old files in macOS Finder ?

Something like a smart search ?

When viewing finder by size , the results is by folders but not All folders at once.

see example.

Thanks

In your screenshot, it is sorting by size, so the Kind really doesn't matter if there is a file bigger than a folder.

If you want to filter, type cmd-F, then change Kind to last modified date and adjust the criteria. Click the + button and use the Other… item in the menu to show the File Size criteria. Adjust it.

That will create an AND condition on the two. You can then sort by one of the two criteria.

You could use a Group and a Sort, but that doesn't make much sense with your two criteria. Group by date would just give you the standard groups that are not particularly useful. Grouping by size might work with a sort within those groups by date modified.
