So I deleted from the Whatsapp app some storage and it currently says that all media makes up to 1.91 GB, however when i go to my I cloud storage it still says that whatsapp uses 3.5 GB. How can I delete some of the Whatsapp storage from iCloud?

Salutations Hellopleasehelpmeimdaria,

Prior to you deleting data from the app, was the app and its data taking up 3.5 GB of space?

If the space you’re seeing taken up in iCloud is a backup of the app, then a new backup may need to be made. If you’re able to make a manual backup of the app to iCloud you can try that. We’re including a link to the WhatsApp Help Center with some steps on how to do that - How to back up to iCloud | WhatsApp Help Center

If you have any issues though, it appears you can use the pages there to find additional troubleshooting and how-to steps.

Thanks.
