Until recently my 2019 iPad Pro was charging fine but now it does not charge when I’m using a usb-c to usb-c cable. Even with the cable that came with iPad. I have tried several different cables and charging blocks. But it starts charging if I connect a usb-a connector on the other end. Any idea what’s wrong with my iPad and how can I fix it?

Wondering if updating (if possible) to the newest iPad OS might help:
Eg: About iPadOS 16 Updates - Apple Support says: iPadOS 16.3.1 is the latest.
Else:

Charge and connect with the USB-C port on your iPad - Apple Support

Both the first 2 solutions don’t work. I have my iOS updated and have tried different solution Apple has mentioned about not charging.
The challenge is it’s charging with usb-a to usb-c but not with usb-c to usb-c cable. Which is a weird issue to have.
