My iPhone seems to play things via the earpiece and not on the loud speaker. Why does this happen?
For example, when I play WhatsApp voice notes, the sound only comes from the earpiece and I can only hear it if I place the phone next to my ear. I can’t seem to switch it.

So I’ve managed to update the Whatsapp and it’s now working. It must have been a WhatsApp issue which they have now solved. Thanks for your help!
