HIghlight color disappears on all apps and also on Finder. I Have a brand new macbook pro 16" M2Max.

I am tryinck to being visibleg to work on a doucmnet. I oticed that the text on various adjustment tools and on finder are getting too faint for me to read. I know all these are adjustable in the settings. But now I have a problem the settings readings are too faint to read and I do not what how to fix it. I cannot even close some of the finder windows because the the "close" button at the top left of boxes are near invisible. Most irritating is that when I drag the cursor to highlight text, on any app, it does the selection of the text, but there is no highlight color so I do not know if the selection is right or not.

Can someone help with a simple reset button so things get back to visible?
