Apple Watch - Apps display Time instead of Calories

Hi All,

I am trying new weightlifting and other fitness apps for tracking my workouts where I want specific data (ie reps, or when surfing, distances on waves).

I have noticed third-party apps, whilst recording calories, display time instead of calories on my Watch and iPhone display. Given they record calories - can this be changed to display calories here instead of time?

Here, despite the app recording a traditional strength training workout, shows time instead of calories, whereas the workout app that comes with the watch shows calories...

Thanks

Best advice for problems with apps not written by Apple is to contact the developer

Yes the Weight Training Apple workout estimates calories whilst Strava for example choses not to. Is why I use Apple not Strava on my Watch for weights. In fact Apple workouts are pretty good on most workouts and if installed correctly can update third party apps for sharing with friends - my Watch updates Strava public site.

As Traditional Weight training is not strictly an aerobic exercise a purist might argue that estimates of calories burnt are irrelevant.

Wow burning 201 calories must have been a heck of a session!
