Is there a way to export individual clips from one timeline/ project in iMovie 10.2.5?

I lost original footages on a broken hard drive, but still have it saved in iMovie.

It's about 5hrs of footages (over 600+ clips), that needs to be saved as separate videos.

Is there a way to do it efficiently rather than one by one creating new project and exporting each?

No. One cannot export individual clips in a project. You would need to select the clip, and then Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste it into a newly created project. Then you could export it from there. You wouldn't need to create a new project each time. Create one project, copy the clip into it, export, and then delete the clip from the project after exporting. Copy in the next clip and repeat the process.

I may be misunderstanding what you are wanting to achieve .

Are you wanting to get back to the video clips that you imported into iMovie from a camcorder.

If so ,then navigate to your Movies Folder where you will see your iMovie Library/Libraries.

Control/click on an iMovie Library and select Show Package Contents where you should see your Events listed.

Click on each Event to show Original Media. This should be the original clips you imported into iMovie.

If this is what you are wanting then you could copy this to wherever you want.
