Both my iPad 2 and iPhone 8 batteries drain FAST since update to 16.3.1. What to do?

I just purchased iPad Pro 12.9 2022 model and the battery life is absolutely rubbish. My partner’s 8 years old iPad lasts way longer than my one. I have everything switched off, no notifications, no background app refresh, no Bluetooth. My iPad definitely is not lasting the advertised 10 hours max 4 and I’m using it very light, no games a bit of safari, YouTube and Netflix. Is this common for everyone. Is this a recent change related to os update or it is related to m2 or screen. Can anyone who own the same iPad longer advise? I’m wonder of yours experience.
Thanks for the tip. I’ll wait a few days.
…
He asked about an iPad not an iPhone there’s no clean energy charging on iPads.
That’s only on the iPhone. It’s not an option on the iPad.
my ipad is not charged
Took your advice. Let’s see what happens.
thanks for the reply. Its an original battery from an A1954 6th Gen iPad Pro
I have two iPads and both are now doing the same thing. The units are shut down due to low battery, but when I reboot it says battery is 100%. What gives?
After trying many ways, turning off everything relating to Siri works for me and I didn’t see battery drained quickly anymore.
