Worked for me

Create a new playlist in Amazon music. Go to Amazon music on watch -- Library -- your new playlist -- swipe left to expose the 'download' thing -- hit it. "charge your watch and make sure amazon music is running on your phone". "Ok. Got it". Wait.

When you're ready listen to it, make you navigate to it via the 'downloads' area in the watch music app.

It returns to the main screen with the playlist shown and a little orange rotating icon 6. Then the playlist just disappears after about 10 seconds.

Apple Music on Watch won’t download playlists My apple watch ultra won’t download playlists for some reason. I have tried adding the playlist through the watch iphone app but it will act like it’s downloading for 10 seconds and then stop without saying anything. I have tried unpairing and repairing my watch to my phone but that didn’t work either. I have tried this while the watch is on my wrist as well as charging but nothing will download. I purposely switched to apple music since the spotify app has a bunch of glitches downloading songs but at least it let me add the playlists. I would greatly appreciate a solution!

Apple Watch Music/Playlists Hello. My watch app used to allow me to upload the music playlists I wanted from the apple watch app on my iphone. All good. Now, ever since ios update, I have ever song I own on apple/iphone 'listed' on my watch, but it wont play. The only playlist from my iphone that I want to play on my apple watch is 'Running playlist' (for obvious reasons). I have uploaded it about 15 times. The playlist shows as there, but playing it is not an option. Every playlist shows as there. PLEASE - How do i control what music is actually on my watch? the 'upload a playlist' in the watch app is not doing it right! I've done a factory reset, and nothing has changed. Thank you

Open Amazon music on your watch; open 'Library'; open 'playlists'; find the one you created in the app on your phone; swipe LEFT to expose the download symbol and punch it. Follow the directions (watch charging; amazon music open on phone).

after the music downloads (it takes a while), it'll be available on Watch's Amazon music app under Library; Downloads; Playlists.

The hard part is getting it to play in offline mode and I'm still working on that. I think you have to enable "Offline" mode in the Amazon Music App on your watch but I can't seem to duplicate my success more than once.
