Payment and Shipping Not Working

today, I entered a new card to my Apple Pay. Then tried to view my payment and shipping info, but I cannot enter with my Face ID. I restarted my device and it still does not work. What’s going on? Is the system access down? Please advise. Thanks.

When I'm trying to use Apple Pay in Safari (16.5), after hitting "PAY", the card selection pop-up appears. Then the processing symbol goes round and round for a short while—and then disappears. Apple pay is not working on online stores I went to purchase clothing off of pacsun and i clicked apple pay to purchase the items. I checked before hand to make sure i had the money to do so and i had more than i needed. When i had to do face id, that worked; but after that the payment just wouldn't go through

Apple Pay failing I don’t believe I had this problem for the firs few days after getting my iphone 15, but my memory is hazy on that. When trying to use Apple Pay at point of sale, the phone detects the terminal just fine and opens up wallet, prompting me to double click. It recognizes Face ID, then just says hold near reader, never recognizing that I’m doing so. Multiple readers at multiple stores. Rebooting my phone now and heading down to the vending machines (which take Apple Pay) in my office to see if it makes a difference. I’m fairly sure I’ve tried shortly after rebooting before, but again, my memory is a little hazy. Any ideas?

Turn off Face ID in Settings then try with passcode.

You may need to reset Face ID
