Apps not downloading on watch

I have an Apple Watch SE, and when I try to download compatible apps on my watch, they say “Get” so I press it, the it gives me a notification about Apple ID verification, so I put in my password, press done, and then it says, double click to install, I do that, then it takes me to the Apple ID part of the settings app, and when I go back to the App Store, it just says “get” again. I’ve watched tons of videos, I’ve updated my apps, but nothing works. (Sad emoji)

Hey there bob7767,

To further isolate this issue, try downloading the app from your iPhone and see if that works. Here’s how:

  1. On your iPhone, open the Watch app.
  2. Tap the My Watch tab.
  3. Scroll to the app that you want to add. Apps that you can install appear in the Available Apps section.
  4. To add an app to your watch, tap Install.

Other steps that could help include restarting and updating your Apple Watch. You can read how to do this in the following articles:

We hope this helps.

Take care.
