iMessage photos are delivered but receiver can’t see them

Hi,

me and a friend are recently struggling to receive each-others pictures on iMessage we’ve tried resetting the networks, turned MMS off and on and updated our iOS so it’s all up to date. When sending it says delivered but on their screen it’s just a blank picture and when I receive them it’s a blank text bubble.

does anybody know what could be the issue or maybe a bug in the new iOS (16.3.1)?
