I cannot get Firefox to connect to any website.

I’ve been struggling to get Firefox up and running. I just downloaded and installed the most recent version. But no matter what I do, Firefox will not connect to any website. It is acting like my modem is off.

There is no firewall. No proxy is selected. I’ve run first aid on the hard drive and on Firefox. I’ve cleared cache several times. I disabled the two extensions, didn’t help.

First, we need to confirm that you do have access to the internet? Are you able to access it via another browser? Are your emails working? If the answer is yes, then it sounds like your installation of Firefox may be corrupted. I have Firefox installed and it works fine for me. I suggest that you try reinstalling Firefox and see what happens. If it still doesn't work you can visit their help site where there are knowledgable volunteers who can help you troubleshoot the problem.
