Changing wallpaper

So, my school changed from personal laptop to ipads, i opted to buy a personal ipad and use it for school and entertainment at home. However, our school borrowed the iPads for a while to “download the school books” and i got it back, it had a ton of restrictions, most dont affect me directly but i think it isnt fair to change the wallpaper on a device thats mine. Now im stuck with one low resolution logo of the school on my personal ipad. Is there a way to remove or change the wallpaper without having to bruteforce the MDM?

No. You'll need to talk to the school's IT department. You likely can remove the MDM on your own (if you can't, that's a whole other issue), but if you do, you'll lose access to your school resources.
