No notifications sounds on watch or iPhone!!!

I am new to the apple watch. I recently purchased the Apple Watch SE GPS 2022, 2nd Generation. I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max. It was perfectly fine for a few days after I got it but now I am very frustrated. I understand that you cannot get notifications on both the phone and watch when they are connected, but now I am not getting any texts, any messenger notifications and some phone calls at all. I have checked my settings and all are on and mirrored to phone. I have missed several important messages and calls. I am unsure what to do. I can't find an answer for this anywhere. I would appreciate it if anyone could help me. Thank you!

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
