a lot of unknowns here, 15 to 45 minutes is wild ballpark guess.

If you have an issue you might be better off stating what is the issue, with more details.

FWIW, in my experience both Wi-Fi and Ethernet take a minimum of 40 mins to download and install. If you have upgraded to Big Sur or Monterey, about the same amount of time.
