Iphone camera app not preserving flash settings

How can I make it so that the flash settings are preserved on my iphone camera, and/or make one simple selection instead of six different options to get the flash turned on? With it's currently inaccessible design, by the time I finish getting the flash set up in the camera app, there's nothing to video tape, and the moment I exit the app location, it turns the flash off and I have to set it back up all over again. I have attached photos of the six steps it takes to turn the flash on, as well as the settings that I thought would preserve the settings so that I would not have to do this.
