Can't find developer mode.

On my iPhone X, currently with IOS 16.2, I'm trying to turn on developer mode, but I can't find it on the bottom of privacy & security. What do I do?

Update to current (16.3.1), and try again.

If that fails, connect a cable to a Mac and launch Xcode, and try again.

I also encountered this problem and found that this item will appear as soon as you connect your phone with Xcode in any of your project.
