iCloud drive not uploading files to iCloud - Big Sur 11.7.4.

The latest update of the MacOS Big Sur 11.7.4 (on my iMac 27 - late 2014) has disabled files uploads to iCloud Drive. However, access to iCloud Drive still works, so files added from another device are visible. When a file is deleted on the affected computer (Big Sur), it is also deleted from iCloud. This issue has affected both users on this computer. Logging out and logging back into iCloud did not help, nor did creating a new user. Connecting to a different network did not help either. Another computer running MacOS Ventura on the same network with the same cloud account did not experience this problem. It doesn't matter the type of file, it won't upload anything (pages file, keynote files, numbers files), pdf, txt, jpg... nothing. The file has a "cloud symbol" in the iCloud drive folder and the finder says sending the item. It must be an incompatibility between iCloud Drive and MacOS Big Sur 11.7.4.

Even the date of the last synchronized file 16.2. shows that this update, which I installed on February 17, is to blame.

Everything else synchronizes (mail, calendar, etc.). Has anyone experienced a similar issue and found a solution?

Thank you.

Hello, LexOS1,

Thank you for your response.

  1. Restarting, logging out of the network, and logging into a different network doesn't help.
  2. As I write this, I have system 11.7.4 and it doesn't offer me any further updates.
  3. Besides these tips, I logged out of my Apple ID on the device, and even after logging back in, the synchronization still doesn't work.
  4. To repeat, there are 2 users on the device and both of us are unable to send files to iCloud drive. I repeat, everything worked without any issues until the latest Big Sur update. I repeat, OS Ventura doesn't have this problem.

I think this update is to blame. There's something wrong with it.
