Network connection

Lately, when I try to download a User Manual for iOS 16.3 in Books (when signed in), The GET button results in a notice that "Network Connection was lost", and retry gives same thing.

Any ideas?

Restart the Mac, and try again.

If you have an add-on first-few-hops VPN client app, remove it and restart.

Restart the Wi-Fi too, as some of those can forget what they’re doing.

Update to newer macOS too, if your iMac supports it.

Update the Wi-Fi firmware too, if there’s something more current available from the vendor.
