My call register is showing that call I have received was answered on another device. I have this facility switched off in settings->Phone->calls on other devices _>off.
so why are my calls being shown as diverted. I have used only the iPhone to answer calls-no other devices including Mac or iPad or iwatch.

Ary you using a third-party app for these particular calls or are they coming through on your phone? Have you tried restarting the device to see if the issue persists? This can sometimes clear up minor software issues. If you're only using your built-in Phone app and this is happening we'd recommend reaching out for support here: Get Support

I switched off the watch which had LTE function. That has so far stopped it.
