Max capacity on MacBook Air m1

Why does apple's system report show a maximum battery capacity of 100%

And coconutBattery, Sensei show a different capacity, about 94-95

Despite the fact that in these programs the capacity fluctuates dynamically

The difference between the two estimates is not significant. Your MacBook is a mass produced device so the sensors used to estimate battery capacity and state of charge are not calibrated in any way. Then the software tools are likely to be making slightly different assumptions about the battery calculation.


In most applications Apple considers the battery is serviceable down to 80% state of health before replacement is justified. You are way above that action level.
