iPad Pro external monitor settings

The recent iPad OS gives the opportunity to duplicate the monitor without mirroring the display. Unfortunately each time I connect the iPad to the external monitor the OS looses the settings and I have to go in “Display & Brightness” “Arrangement” and deselect “Mirror Display”.

Is it possible to keep the setting? Or is it possible to create a Shortcut that deselect the “Mirror Display” each time I connect the external monitor?

Thanks

Hello MicheleFS,

It's possible that this behavior is expected. However, we're not seeing official details in Move, resize, and organize windows with Stage Manager on iPad. With that in mind, we recommend contacting Apple Support directly to confirm.

If you find this behavior is expected, you can submit feedback using their Product Feedback page to ensure it reaches the most appropriate team.

Cheers!
