Rosetta 2

Hello,

First, I apologize for my english (I'm French), I hope you'll understand what I'm saying and be able to help me solve this problem.

I want to install Rosetta 2 on my macbook air M1 (macOS ventura 13.2.1), because I wanted to install a word processing application.

My computer is up to date but it still doesn't work.

I used "terminal" and i wrote "softwareupdate --install-rosetta", it didn't work so I wrote "/usr/sbin/softwareupdate --install-rosetta --agree-to-license" but it didn't work either.

This message is displayed but despite that it's impossible for me to open the application.

Do you have any solution, please.

Bonjour maëlys17 and welcome to the forum.

Apple's support document If you need to install Rosetta [2] on your Mac - Apple Support says that it self-installs on a Mac with Apple silicon (only) to use apps built for a Mac with an Intel processor.

If continues:

How to install Rosetta

...You're asked to install Rosetta the first time you open an app that needs Rosetta. Click Install, then enter your user name and password to allow installation to proceed.
