Unable to add document to print job via AirPrint

Brother HL-L2350DW laser printer black only 64MB RAM, connected via AirPrint, cannot handle a print job of more than 4 pages. Any larger and I get the "Unable to add document to print job" message in the print queue. It cannot handle a 57KB, 12 page PDF document at one time. The only way to print is to break the print jobs into small pieces. This is a brand new unit.

I have struggled with this error for the last year on my Brother HL-L2350DW printer. None of the suggestions I found worked permanently--the error would go away for a while and then eventually return.

Tonight I updated the printer firmware to v. 1.73. I just printed about 100 pages with zero "unable to add document to print job" errors! Keeping my fingers crossed that Brother actually fixed the problem in this firmware update.

To update the firmware, log in to the printer web portal, click on the Administrator tab, and select Firmware Update from the left navigation bar. If the firmware version is lower than 1.73, click the "check for new firmware" button and install the latest version.
