iCal not updating

In a series of recurring meetings, iCal is not updating when sender changes date/time. I've "refreshed" my calendar, but I'm missing meetings!!! Please help! My clients are getting very annoyed!

Thanks for reporting back with those details egshop.

Let's go through a few other items to see if we can narrow down what might be causing this. Since this is your iCloud Calendar, we'd recommend checking your available iCloud storage.

Check your iCloud storage on any device - Apple Support

We'd also like you to test your calendar while your Mac is booted to safe mode. Then, test it in another user profile created on your Mac. These steps will help narrow down if the underlying cause is something with your overall macOS or your user profile specifically.

We look forward to hearing how it goes.

Best regards.

Hi egshop,

If you sign into the account that maintains your calendar on a web browser are you able to see your changes and updates there? If so, here's some information to help troubleshoot:

"Change preferences in Calendar on Mac

Use Calendar preferences to change options for the accounts you use in Calendar and to customize the calendar view.

In the Calendar app on your Mac, choose Calendar > Preferences, then click a preference pane:

  • General: Change the view of your calendars, such as the number of days shown per week, the day your week starts on, birthdays, and holidays.
  • Accounts: Add, delete, turn on, and turn off your calendar accounts.
  • Alerts: Change default alert settings for events and birthdays, set an alert for when it’s time to leave for an event, and choose preferences for notifications.
  • Advanced: Choose settings such as time zone support and week number display, and clear the list of saved locations and attendees."

Take care.

Hi! I've checked all my settings.

iCloud is not showing any of my iCalendar events.

I get events on my iPhone that match my laptop. But when a series of events is edited and a meeting changed. I don't get the change.

I almost missed another call today! Client texted after the call started to see if I was joining. This time, I didn't receive an event invite.

Anyone have any ideas???? As a consultant, this is really bad for my business.
