I spilled water on my Apple Magic Keyboard 2 for Macbook

What should I do? Should I try disassembling it?

Currently I have turned off the power wiped out the surface liquid and put it upside down.

Hi dws127,

In terms of what you should do, general steps include disconnecting all cables, shut down or power off the device, don't use compressed air or cleaning products, and do not place the device in rice.

The article Important handling information for iPhone also offers the following which may be helpful:

"... unplug all cables and do not charge your device until it’s completely dry. Using accessories or charging when wet may damage your iPhone. Allow at least 5 hours before charging or connecting a Lightning accessory.

To dry iPhone, tap it gently against your hand with the Lightning connector facing down to remove excess liquid. Leave the device in a dry area with sufficient airflow. Placing the device in front of a fan blowing cool air directly into the Lightning connector may help the drying process.

Do not dry your iPhone using an external heat source or insert a foreign object into the Lightning connector such as a cotton swab or a paper towel."

Disassembling it would not be recommended, though if you are able to acquire actual desiccant (not rice) that may assist in drawing moisture out. It's very important to prevent power entry or utilization until the device is completely dry.

If you need hardware service after trying those steps, reach out to Apple Support directly to review options.

Regards.
