Liaison Subtitles

Anyone else having a hard time keeping up with the subtitles on the new Apple TV production "Liaison"? Many times the subtitles appear for just a flash and disappear. How on earth is anyone supposed to follow what is transpiring between characters if you don't know what they're saying? This certainly diminishes the enjoyment of the program. I'm sure those are added in post-production but the technique used is atrocious. YMMV

I thought about commenting under the AppleTV app but this is not a problem with apps, software or hardware. It's about the production of content that Apple underwrites. Is there a place within the Apple universe where one can get Apple ears to hear what viewers are experiencing? Twitter? Reddit? On a similar vein, I watched an MLS match on the first weekend of Apple's carriage. It seems the closed captions for it are developed using a speech-to-text software. The results are horrible, especially with non-English surnames, among other problems.

If Apple doesn't hear about these viewer issues how will they improve?

As I mentioned above it's not a "feature" of AppleTV. The English subtitles in the series "Liaison" are included when a person in the show is speaking in a foreign language. The theory is that an English-speaking viewer will be able to understand what is being said between characters. If those subtitles appear for fractions of a second (as they do frequently in this show) the viewer is unable to discern the dialog. These translation subtitles are nothing the settings in AppleTV can adjust, they are embedded in the program during its creation.
