My question is I brought a second hand phone that’s broken… but it says in the settings of the phone that I have apple care + on the phone … my question is would I be able to use the apple care to get the phone fixed, or would I not be able to?

f your second-hand iPhone has AppleCare+ coverage and the coverage is still active, you may be able to use it to get the phone fixed. However, before you can use AppleCare+ to get your iPhone repaired, you'll need to make sure that the device is eligible for service under the program.

To check if your iPhone is eligible for AppleCare+ service, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the AppleCare+ Coverage Checker website (Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support).
  2. Enter the serial number of your iPhone in the appropriate field.
  3. Click "Continue."
  4. If your iPhone is eligible for AppleCare+ service, you will be prompted to choose a service option.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to arrange for service.

If your iPhone is not eligible for AppleCare+ service, or if the coverage has expired, you may still be able to get it repaired through Apple or an authorized repair center, but you may have to pay for the repairs out of pocket.
