How to recover my deleted files on my MacBook Air?

I need your help to recover my deleted files in my MacAir. Without knowing the consequence, I deleted all pdf and word documents usually found in "Recents" and "Bin". Then I realized that those documents are permanently deleted from other places as well.

Can I recover deleted files from my MacBook Air? Is there any way to recover files and applications that I intentionally removed from from my MacBook Air to a 32GB flashdrive that apparently had a corrupted item transferred to it and dumped all files & apps on it the trash. the flashdrive, which had over 20GB of transferred content on it , now appears to be completely empty. lost files after update hello, after I updated my Mac book to Ventura 13.3.1 I lost all the documents, how should I recover it? I did not saved in iCloud.

macOS 12 uses an encrypted file system. Your data is gone. There is no getting it back, free or otherwise.

Take this as a life lesson. Go out and buy an external hard drive to use for backups.

If ones were removed recently -- check this article:

Recover deleted files on iCloud.com - Apple Support

Otherwise try with software like R-Studio, Stellar Data Recovery Mac, etc.

there's not that much. TestDisk is a free one, but it's a command line app, and to tinker it's necessary to stick with the guidance:
