Apple TV - Annoying Voice over setting re-sets itself to on

Although the fix is simple (ask Siri to turn Voice over off - it’s just annoying that it turns itself on automatically. Also no lyrics on Spotify I’m finding myself using the built in Roku with the TV that just works. I’ve been awaiting an update to fix both but neither seem to be forthcoming. Both stream via my receiver in Dolby Atmos so wondering why I bought it in the first place ??

Hello Bessowl,

This page can help out with providing some info and steps for VoiceOver on Apple TV: Turn VoiceOver on or off on your Apple TV - Apple Support

There are a few different ways that it may be enabled, see if any may apply:

On Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD
There are three ways to turn VoiceOver on or off:
* Go to Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver, then turn VoiceOver on or off.
* Hold the Siri button on your Siri Remote*, then say "Turn VoiceOver on" or "Turn VoiceOver off."
* On your remote, press the Menu button or the Back button  three times to turn VoiceOver on or off.
