Hi, does anyone know of an online eSim provider that can be used world wide and compatible with Apple Watch ultra?
im a captain and am regularly in new countries. Airalo works well on iPhone but not on watch. I like to workout where I am and am looking to leave phone in hotel when out jogging.

what we've come to understand then there are two radios for the cellular apple watches
1 which works in usa, canada and mexico and
1 which works in the rest of the world
so people can't buy watchs in usa and... and use it in other countries
one would assume the same would go for roaming in said countries
but if you want official verification you can try contacting your carrier
and or reach out to apple directly

I am afraid you cannot use the cellular watch feature outside your country/region. It has to be near the paired iPhone.
Thanks for the reply. I think I explained incorrectly. The watch works fine with an eSim linked to the sim in phone. However when I’m a different region / country there are high roaming fees.
there are a host of options for travel esims such as Airalo, they work well on iPhone but are not compatible with watch for some reason. I am trying to enquire if anyone is aware of a supplier that has an eSim tailored to traveling which works on watch?
they are all compatible on Samsung watches so I’m hoping there’s at least one that someone may know of? Otherwise I would need to start cycling through them which will entail paying for a 7 day travel eSim for each one which is costly and time consuming.
Reason for this is to reduce roaming costs on my actual sim which is linked no issue.
