upgrade mac os

I recently had to erase my HD and reinstall the OS. The version that was available through Recovery was Yosemite 10.10. I need to re-install Pages now, but the only app available on the App Store requires OS 12 or higher. How do I either upgrade my OS or find an earlier version of Pages? Thanks!

Hello RJBonk,

This page can help out with providing links to the various macOS versions that are accessible via the App Store: How to download macOS - Apple Support

1. Click the link to open the App Store page for that macOS.
2. In the App Store, click the Get button to begin downloading the macOS installer.
3. After downloading to your Applications folder, the installer opens automatically. Follow the onscreen instructions to install macOS.

You may also try re-downloading Pages from your Purchased section of the App Store, as that may help: Redownload apps and games from Apple - Apple Support

How to redownload apps on Mac
1. Open the App Store on your Mac.
2. Click your name in the sidebar, then find the app that you want to download. If you don't see your name in the sidebar, click Sign In, sign in with your Apple ID, then click your photo in the sidebar.
3. If you use Family Sharing, you can see a family member's purchases when you go to Purchased by and choose their name.
4. Click the download button  for the app.

Cheers.
