My new MacBook Pro didn’t turn on automatically as it stated in the brochure

Is that normal for the newly bought MacBook Pro M2 to not automatically turn on when first opening it for set up?

Even not when the start button is pressed

Can you verify you have plugged it into power and let it charge a bit before turning it on/ lifting the lid/ pressing any key...
