Weak security

All the apple devices in our house are suddenly showing weak security and will not connect to our Virgin wifi. Advice on here says to ask the IP provider to upgrade to WPA2 or WPA3, has anyone had success in getting Virgin to do this for them? If not is there any other work around as we are eating all our data!

"Weak security" warning message shouldn't prevent your iPhone from connecting with the modem router.

Your ISP (or your router manufacturer support team) should be able to help you.

In the meantime, also try to reboot your router, wait for its complete autoconfiguration, then re-connect your device(s).
