Can the previous owner of refurbished AirPod Pros find my location after AirPods have been reset if they’re connected with their iCloud?

According to this resource, "Find My is the only way that you can track or locate a lost or missing device. There is no other Apple service that can find, track, or otherwise flag your device for you." Find your lost AirPods
So as long as the previous owner removed the AirPods, they would be unable to locate them. Before you sell, give away, return, or recycle your AirPods
