External camera to send pictures to ipad

Looking for a way to send a picture from an external camera to the iPad?

currently do not have a camera but wondered if it’s possible?

trying to take a picture of an object near to the iPad which will be within Bluetooth range……. But the iPad itself would be fixed to a wall with no use of the camera

Wondering which iOS version is installed on the iPad.

Eg : The article below is for iPadOS 16, yet for accurate info.,

you can choose earlier iPad OS versions at the top of the article, if needed:

How to: Import photos and videos to iPad – Apple Support

says: "You can import photos and videos directly to the Photos app  from a digital camera, an SD memory card, or another iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that has a camera".

All the best :-)

Share through iCloud:

You need access to the data resource (the external camera). So, if you upload the files to your Photos app on a device that is logged into the same account, then enable Photos and iCloud Drive in iCloud Settings on both the iPad and this other device, all should sync.
