Sharing photos from non-Wi-Fi enabled camera to ipad

I’ve been given a seven year old LUMIX camera that is non Wi-Fi enabled. Is there a way to transfer photos from the camera to my iPad?

If that camera supports an SD card:

Connect external storage devices to iPad - Apple Support

Otherwise send the photos to a computer and sync them to your iPad.

For Macs:

Sync your photos using the Finder - Apple Support

For PCs:

Sync photos in iTunes on PC with devices - Apple Support
