Disable wallpaper effect

When I close my iPhone, it sort of close the background first then close the people in my wallpaper, but when I add a widget, the effect is gone.

I don’t want that effect, but I also don’t wanna add widget. Does anyone know a way to solve this issue?

I've tried by disabling depth effect but it’s still the same

Hello Mathh__,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. In this helpful support article: Change the wallpaper on your iPhone - Apple Support It states: " You can't use Depth Effect on wallpapers with widgets."

With that being said, we wanted to confirm. Are you trying to not use Depth Effect at all? If so, are you unable to disable this feature with all of the wallpapers on your iPhone? This information will help the community gain a better understanding to provide you the best support.

Kind regards.
